The Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare (IGH) team within IT Advisory consists of over 100 client facing staff and is continuing to grow rapidly. Our clients are drawn from a number of industry segments including Central and Local and Regional Government, Health, Transport, Property and Construction and Business Services. The group is based in Canary Wharf, London. IGH IT Advisory is part of the National UK IT Advisory Practice covering all industry lines, and is also part of Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare Advisory.

We work closely with other departments within KPMG such as Performance Management, Financial Management, Transaction Services, Financial Risk Management, Internal Audit and Regulatory and Compliance Services. The role is within the IT Advisory Financial Modelling team based in IGH in Canary Wharf. We provide data analysis, financial modelling and related services to a diverse client portfolio primarily operating in a variety of industries and sectors and are based in KPMG's Advisory practice.

Role Description

The Role - Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
We are looking for advisors and data analysis practitioners to lead and manage specialist data analysis and modelling services to our clients.

These services include:
- Data capture / extraction and data validation
- Data mapping and transformation
- Data migration
- Development of tactical solutions
- Data analysis and reporting
- Development of statistical and financial models and provision of analysis and data to support decision making by key stakeholders.

Role Requirements

The Individual:
You will need to have extensive prior data modelling and analysis experience as well as demonstrable experience in team leadership and team management in a consulting / advisory environment.

The following would be an asset:
- A numerate degree with either an accounting qualification (or working towards one) or an MBA or post graduate qualification in maths, statistics or Operational Research
- Previous experience of team management and of management of data modelling services and projects
- Positive approach towards problem solving, even under time pressure
- Ability to describe complex technical issues in a clear non-technical way
- Initiative, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and interpretative skills
- Ability to quickly assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge
- Knowledge of corporate or project finance.
